Bavarian Capital

Heimarbeit
We are expanding our technical capacity to support a major Swiss financial services client on a significant interface project. This internship provides a practical introduction to building web applications that handle complex data and capital management functions. You will assist in developing digital tools that support our commitment to long term stability and clear, functional communication.

About the role
As a Frontend Development Intern, you will work as part of our remote technical team to build and maintain user interfaces. We prioritize clean code and logical structure, especially when presenting financial information to professional users. This is a fully remote position where you will learn how an investment firm manages digital infrastructure through careful development, testing, and documentation. You will help translate data requirements into stable, functional web components that reflect the firm's focus on precision.

What you will do
  • Translate interface designs into functional HTML and CSS components that meet accessibility standards.
  • Write clean and maintainable JavaScript to handle user interactions and data presentation.
  • Participate in periodic code reviews to ensure alignment with internal quality standards.
  • Assist in the integration of frontend components with existing backend data services.
  • Test web applications across various browsers and devices to ensure a reliable experience for all users.
  • Document frontend architecture and reusable component libraries for the development team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues identified during the quality assurance process.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to refine interface details and improve usability.

What we are looking for
  • Fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and contemporary JavaScript.
  • Basic familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • A disciplined approach to writing organized and well commented code.
  • Strong attention to detail when implementing visual layouts and spacing requirements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for a distributed team setting.
  • A willingness to learn and adhere to the firm's established development procedures.
  • Curiosity about how financial data is structured and presented to professional stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks independently while working in a fully remote environment.
  • A logical approach to problem solving and debugging code.

What we offer
  • Competitive pay that is attractive for an internship in the current market.
  • A fully remote working model that supports professional autonomy.
  • Direct mentorship from experienced developers within the investment sector.
  • Practical experience working on projects for a major Swiss financial services organization.
  • Exposure to the intersection of technology, capital management, and financial analysis.
  • A calm and professional atmosphere that values steady, thoughtful progress.
  • Access to modern development tools and professional collaboration software.
  • A professional environment where quality of work is the primary measure of success.

Working at Bavarian Capital

We avoid the frantic pace often found in the technology sector, choosing instead to focus on precision and thoughtful execution. Our remote first model is built on trust and clear, documented communication, allowing team members to perform their best work from any location. We believe that stability is the foundation of growth, both for our clients and our employees. By joining us, you enter a workspace where your contributions are measured by their quality and long term value rather than short term metrics. We maintain a professional home for those who take pride in their work and appreciate a steady, reliable pace of development.
