Junior BI Analyst - #52152

Location: Zurich
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months – with possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve Power BI dashboards and reports tracking KPIs and business performance
• Develop data models — relationships, measures, calculated columns
• Monitor and validate data quality; help fix issues at the source
• Document KPI logic, data definitions, and reporting standards
• Partner with business stakeholders to turn requirements into clear reporting specs
• Support troubleshooting, refresh issues, and process automation

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
• Working knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, aggregations)
• Some hands-on experience with a BI tool — ideally Power BI and/or Strategy (MicroStrategy)
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Fluent English, written and verbal — able to explain data to non-technical audiences
• Self-starter mentality: curious, independent, and collaborative

Nice to Have

• DAX, performance optimization, row-level security (RLS)
• Data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, star schemas)
• Python or R for data prep/analysis
• Exposure to insurance/reinsurance data (policies, premiums, claims)
• Additional European languages
