EU Operations Manager - #51137

Halfdays is a women's ski and outdoor apparel brand built on a simple belief: you shouldn't have to choose between looking good and performing at your best. We started in the US and we're bringing that energy to Europe — and we're looking for the people who want to build it with us.

As our EU Operations Manager, you'll be one of our first hires in Europe. That means you'll have real ownership, real impact, and the chance to shape how we operate across the continent from day one. You'll report to our GM of Europe and work closely with our global ops team in the US, sitting at the intersection of logistics, e-commerce infrastructure, and cross-border complexity.

• Own EU fulfillment operations end-to-end — 3PL relationships, carrier partnerships, last-mile delivery
• Manage our Shopify backend for EU markets: product setup, inventory, shipping configurations, and order management
• Handle customs compliance, VAT processes, and cross-border regulatory requirements
• Maintain real-time inventory visibility and coordinate with our global demand planning team in the US
• Build and document operational processes as we scale — you're writing the playbook, not following one
• Manage EU customer service escalations and the systems that support them
• Partner with the GM of Europe on anything operational that enables the business to move faster
  

• 4–7 years of operations experience in DTC, e-commerce, or consumer apparel
• Hands-on Shopify experience — you know your way around the backend
• Working knowledge of EU logistics, customs/VAT, and cross-border fulfillment
• A builder mindset — you're energized by ambiguity, not slowed down by it
• Strong communicator who's comfortable collaborating across time zones
• Fluency in English required; German or another EU language a plus

LOCATION: Zug, Switzerland (preferred) or remote within EU

SALARY RANGE: EUR 90,000-120,000, depending on experience
