Role Purpose

The Senior Manager, Strategy plays a pivotal role in shaping and enabling the future of Operations by combining visionary, future-back thinking with disciplined execution.

They support the development of long-term strategic narratives (5–10 year horizon), translate them into actionable initiatives, and bring them to life through compelling, high-quality visual storytelling that drives alignment at senior leadership level.

This role acts as a bridge between strategic vision and execution, empowering leadership to navigate complexity and make bold, future-oriented decisions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development & Translation

  • Actively drive the end-to-end strategic cycle (build, refresh, integration, tracking) of Operations strategy
  • Help articulate a clear, compelling strategic narrative for Operations
  • Contribute to scenario planning and long-term strategic outlooks
    (e.g., 5–10 year horizons)
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, initiatives, and deliverables


2. Visual Storytelling & Executive Communication

  • Lead the creation of high-impact, executive-level visuals (slides, one-pagers, memos)
  • Translate complex, ambiguous topics into clear, structured, and visually compelling outputs
  • Support preparation of materials for Operations LT, SMT, and cross-functional leadership forums
  • Set a high bar for clarity, simplicity, and visual excellence in all strategic communications


3. Cross-functional Orchestration

  • Work closely with Operations teams and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance) to deliver strategic programs
  • Facilitate alignment across functions, ensuring consistent execution against strategy
  • Support preparation of strategic governance forums and leadership discussions


4. Insights & Strategic Analysis

  • Monitor internal performance and external trends (market, regulatory, competitors) to inform strategic decisions
  • Conduct deep dives and develop insights on key topics impacting Operations
  • Support development of business cases and strategic recommendations


What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting the annual strategy cycle and ongoing updates
  • Preparing materials for Operations LT and senior leadership discussions
  • Translating complex strategic questions into structured problem-solving and actionable outputs
  • Leading 1–3 strategic initiatives or workstreams at any given time
  • Managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment


Profile & Key Skills

Experience

  • 6–10 years of experience in management consulting, strategy roles or operations transformation
  • Experience in complex project/program management
  • Exposure to global industrial, supply chain is a plus, but not mandatory
