Project Manager Engineering

Purpose of the role

As a Project Manager Engineering, you will lead cross-functional product development and engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and innovative solutions that support business and customer objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development, customization, relocation, and cost-down projects with a strong focus on innovation.
• Manage cross-functional project teams within a global matrix organization.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
• Act as the main interface between project teams and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages continuous learning and individual contribution.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize project processes and outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate technical, supply chain, marketing, and quality activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within a global matrix organization.
• Experience leading complex product development projects from concept to prototype with minimal supervision.
• Broad understanding of engineering, supply chain, marketing, and quality processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS365, DevOps, and project management tools.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Experience in the vacuum technology or semiconductor industry is beneficial.
