As an AI & Quantum Engineer at QuantumBasel, you will work at the intersection of advanced computing, data science, and client innovation. Collaborating with our Business Development, Quantum, and AI teams, you will play a key role in identifying, shaping, and delivering cutting-edge AI and Quantum solutions. With your strong understanding of machine learning, emerging technologies, and quantum principles, you will act as a trusted technical partner throughout each client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and design AI and Quantum use cases for clients across industries.
• Build and prototype AI models and quantum algorithms to solve real-world problems.
• Develop hybrid solutions using classical and quantum approaches where applicable.
• Translate technical concepts into business value for client stakeholders.
• Support implementation of scalable AI solutions and quantum PoCs.
• Contribute to proposals, workshops, and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior consultants.

What We’re Looking For

• Direct collaboration with experts across AI, quantum, cloud, and HPC — perfect for AI engineers who want to expand their skillset beyond traditional ML.
• Python-first environment using modern AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Generative AI & LLM ecosystems including LangChain, Hugging Face, and vector database tools (FAISS, Pinecone, Milvus).
• MLOps & production tooling such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Quantum development frameworks including Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane, and hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
• Access to NVIDIA GPU clusters, and leading quantum hardware through QuantumBasel’s ecosystem.
• Hands-on with cutting-edge optimization, simulation, and quantum-enhanced algorithms.
