How you’ll make an impact as a Systems Biology and Microbiome Data Science Intern
- Driving data mining and computational analysis of microbiome assays to uncover insights that support human health research.
- Conducting literature reviews to identify scientific advancements and strengthen the foundation of ongoing research projects.
- Building on existing analyses to generate new biological understanding of microbiome and host interactions.
- Partnering with interdisciplinary experts to translate scientific questions into actionable research outputs.
- Presenting findings through reports and scientific communication to help shape future research directions.
- Current student or fresh graduate in computational science, systems biology, microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Having confidence using programming tools such as R, Python, or similar technologies to explore and interpret complex scientific data.
- Being curious about microbiome science, motivated by human health, and comfortable collaborating across disciplines and teams to turn ideas into insight.
- Communicating fluently in English.
- Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.
