Finance Manager

We are searching for an experienced Finance Manager at our MSC Geneva facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager with strong exposure to business partnering and transversal financial analysis to join our leading shipping company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, driving financial performance, and collaborating across departments to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial teams, contributing financial expertise to strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Perform comprehensive transversal financial analysis across multiple business areas, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency.
• Prepare, review and present financial reports to management, ensuring accuracy and clarity of key metrics and business drivers.
• Support forecasting and variance analysis processes, collaborating with stakeholders to align financial objectives with business goals.
• Monitor financial results, working capital, and cost management initiatives across the organisation.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial management within the shipping division.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
Proven 10 years’ experience in a finance manager role, ideally within the shipping, logistics, or maritime industry.
Demonstrated capability in business partnering and cross-functional financial analysis.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
