Internship Market/Credit Analyst (immediately until November 2026) - #45845

Are you ready for an interesting challenge in a demanding environment? We are looking for a maternity leave substitution in the AXA Group Risk Management.
Our team is responsible for the development of the internal model and the production of capital requirement under Solvency II. In your role, you will contribute to the Market and Credit Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) modelling, both at group and local levels. You support the modelling of assets and liabilities in dedicated tools allowing us to assess the economic balance sheet of AXA's entities under several stressed economic scenarios. You also contribute to the enhancement and the maintenance of the different documents related to Market and Credit SCR.

Your contribution

• Support on various tasks the Market and Credit Risk process in AXA's internal model for Solvency II
• Translate existing tools from Excel/VBA into Python
• Support the implementation of a tool for the calculation of the Credit risks as well as the documentation of the code

Your capabilities and talents

• Background in economics / mathematics / physics / IT.
• Some financial knowledge is a strong plus.
• Very strong quantitative skills.
• Ability to analyze and understand complex dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of IT tools, particularly Python / Excel / VBA.
• Knowledge of R, MySQL or other programming languages (e.g. Java) is a plus.
• Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural environment.
• Proactiveness and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
